Art Laffer on Tax Policy

Economist Arthur Laffer weighs in for The Wall Street Journal on the topic of taxing the rich, and all the negative effects thereof. He writes that the main problem with taxing the rich is that it is counterproductive; as you raise the taxes on the rich, they correspondingly pay less tax and do less of the things that would generate tax-paying jobs for the not-rich.

Pay attention to the views of Art Laffer. His understanding of the interplay of tax rates, government revenues and economic growth is unparalleled.
