William Pentland, writing for Forbes, about pollution problems with electric cars:
For countries with dirty power supplies – like India and China – widespread adoption of electric vehicles could lead to more – not less – CO2 emissions compared to widespread adoption of gasoline based vehicles.
That could also happen here in the U.S., where most of the power in large parts of the country is generated by coal-fired plants.
