North Korean Update

Five days ago COTTonLINE wrote about the strange absence of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un from the public events at which he is normally present. That absence now stretches to about 5 weeks.

Today the Associated Press reports that Kim was conspicuously missing from an important event celebrating the founding by his grandfather of the ruling Workers Party.

It has been widely alleged that should Kim miss this annual event, the presumption of him experiencing serious difficulties would become much stronger. You may therefore feel free to ratchet up your enjoyment of various conspiracy theories.
