Wisdom

A former stand-up comic turned columnist for Power Line blog who uses the nom de plume Ammo Grrrl (she likes target shooting), posts lessons taught her by a long and occasionally misspent life. I particularly like this one:
If you are over 35 and still whining about what your parents did or did not do, you need to get over it. With rare, mentally-disturbed exceptions, your parents did the best they could with the hand they were dealt. Grow up.
