The San Francisco Chronicle writes that California Attorney General Kamala Harris has spoken out in support of the sanctuary cities concept. This in reaction to the controversy about the fatal shooting of Kate Steinle in San Francisco by a serial felon and multiple deportee illegal alien who had been in police custody and was released without deportation.
Her comments are unwelcome but not unexpected. What else could we expect a Senate candidate to say in the officially Hispanic-majority state that California recently became?
