ABC News Denver reports that the three top Democrats in Colorado plan to miss President Obama's Wednesday speech in Denver's Cheesman Park.
Missing from the morning event — which is closed to the public but open to the media — will be U.S. Sen. Mark Udall, Gov. John Hickenlooper and Andrew Romanoff, the former state House speaker now running for a seat in Congress.
The technical name for their behavior is "trying to avoid guilt by association." The three must believe the President now has the infamous "doo-doo touch."
