Writing for
RealClearPolitics, Robert Samuelson makes some very
good points about legal and illegal immigration. It isn’t that he makes any breakthroughs, rather Samuelson lays out what we already know in a sensible, middle-of-the-road fashion that describes an immigration policy Americans could support, if only our politicians could agree to back it. As a realistic policy, extremists on both sides will declare it anathema.
