A Political Aphorism

Alex Castellanos writes on the CNN website that the Obama presidency has yet to hit bottom. His itemization of Obama failures is both comprehensive, and depressing.

Where does he say Obama goes from here? This aphorism pretty much tells the story:

Disagreement is not the cruelest cut in politics; it is ridicule.

When the Prez becomes a figure of ridicule and pity, that's when he hits bottom.
