Quote of the Day

Psychologist Ty Tashiro specializes in romantic relationships and has written a book entitled The Science of Happily Ever After. Sean Braswell reviews the book on the National Public Radio website.

Braswell particularly likes the following from Tashiro:
With married couples, he points out, "liking declines at a rate of 3 percent a year, whereas lust declines at a rate of 8 percent per year," so the smarter, long-term investment is finding someone you genuinely like.
Translation: marry your best friend. It's great advice.
