I just realized that I've been having that experience with former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Whole weeks go by without hearing her name or seeing her photo in the news.
Like a headache that has gone, it took me several months to really notice the absence of Pelosi. I need to stop and enjoy our Pelosi-free political life.
