However we do share the problem of having developed social welfare entitlement programs for which we can no longer afford to pay without raising taxes to the point where our economies will not function. He states:

Both economics and demographics have moved adversely.Our economies are flaccid and our populations are aging, theirs aging more rapidly than ours. This is not a recipe for happy politics.
