The private sector is doing fine.Yes, I know that he meant "better than the public sector" which is probably true, but that's not what he said. His actual words make him sound entirely out of touch with Mr. & Ms. America's perceptions of our economy. He'll have trouble living those six words down.
This could be as damaging to Obama as the comment of Romney's father George that in Vietnam he'd "just had the greatest brainwashing that anybody can get" referring to his briefings by the U.S. military.
