Today, there are probably more Marxists on the faculty of our elite colleges than there are in all of Russia and Eastern Europe.The more elite the college, the more leftists in the faculty lounge. Even my second tier public university had its share.
A university resembles a little Marxist enclave. It provides food, shelter, employment, entertainment, education, health care, and parking to students and to some extent to faculty as well. The whole thing funded by mortgaging student futures. We're fortunate most students don't buy into the nanny state model advocated (and practiced) there.
