Dr. Charles Krauthammer held down the chair nearest Bret Baier on the Fox News Special Report panel for years, and did it well. I didn't always agree with him, or with anybody else for that matter.
OTOH, a quick search shows over the years I've referenced his writings 20 different times. That suggests there was a lot to like in his work, and his long tenure with both the Washington Post and Bret Baier suggest I was one of many thousands, perhaps millions of fans.
Krauthammer today announced his battle with cancer has gone "inoperable and terminal." He describes having been told he has "weeks to live." That is sad news, he made a difference.
