Fleeing New York

This Newscore article on the New York Fox TV website cites an Empire Center for State Policy report to the effect that New York State has lost 1.6 million residents during the last ten years. They state:

For the second consecutive decade, New York led the nation in the percentage of residents leaving for other states.

The article blames high taxes and high cost of living. It might also have something to do with the constant chip-on-shoulder 'tude.
