Predicted S&P Downgrade Occurs

The Associated Press reports on the Yahoo News page that the threatened Standard & Poor's downgrade of U.S. federal debt from AAA to AA+ has occurred. The article says S&P suggests that a further downgrade to AA could happen within the next two years.
