The Washington Post reports a new smartphone ap (BuyPartisan) allows you to scan a product's barcode and determine to which political party or parties the parent company donates. It also contains the same information about their board of directors, executives, and workers.
This ap will enable you to "vote" every time you make a purchase, directing your business to firms whose politics align with your own, withholding your dollars from those whose politics are anathema to you.
Sadly, I'm not sure I can be bothered.
