As I write this a doe and her twin fawns are eating aspen leaves in our WY front yard. The fawns are unrealistically cute, and adult deer are head-on beautiful. Hat tip to the other DrC for the photo.
They do some damage to the plant life but we enjoy them too much to be crabby about it. I hope they don't bring Lyme disease infected ticks into the yard, probably a forlorn hope.
