The Mirror (U.K.) reports some scholars believe King Tutankhamun was mummified with an erect penis. It was, supposedly, an attempt to make him resemble in death the god Osiris, the worship of whom he was trying to reinstate.
Brit papers are often salacious. Couldn't we have happily gone the rest of our lives unaware of this factoid?
