Power Line's numbers guy - Steve Hayward - has a chart with interesting data. The subject matter: membership in mainline Protestant churches. You might guess it is declining, and you'd be right.
I don't find these numbers particularly discouraging. While all of these are declining, the group that is growing - not shown on the chart - is the group who answered the church affiliation question by checking "None."
