Chinese Coal Not Villain

You've read the claim that the atmospheric sulfates from all the coal that China burns are masking solar heating and reducing global warming for the last 15 years? It turns out almost all of those sulfates remain in the northern hemisphere which should therefore be cooler than the southern hemisphere.

Patrick Michaels, writing in Forbes, has a table (scroll down) that shows the southern hemisphere has been cooler than the northern over that 15 year period. Oops, I guess sulfates don't explain why supposed global warming has stopped. I wonder what is next?
