Autumn War Predicted

Robert Baer, whom the Jerusalem Post identifies as "a veteran senior CIA officer," has predicted an attack by Israel on Iran's nuclear facilities in September. He further predicts that Iran will then attack U.S. interests in the region, probably in Bagdad and Basra.

Baer believes it is the intent of the Netanyahu government, and probably the Iranian government as well, to draw the U.S. into the conflict on the side of Israel. If you think a regional war is actually going to happen in a couple of months, a call option bet on October or November oil futures at today's price sounds like a lucrative move.
