Obama Says Obama Was Wrong

Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) speaking in March, 2006, about the wisdom of raising the debt limit:
Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. . . . I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.
Senator Obama voted against raising the debt limit. The source for the quote is this article in the Washington Post.

What does President Obama think now, five years later? The article says the following:
In April, Obama told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos that his vote against raising the debt ceiling had been a mistake. He appealed to the current Congress to vote yes, saying that Sen. Obama was a bad example to follow.
One of these Obamas is wrong. I think maybe he was right the first time.
