The Conservative Side of Potter's World

Heigh ho, Harry Potter fans, good news late in coming is good news nevertheless. Author J.K. Rowling is well-known for leftwing virtue-signaling, and frankly she's tiresome about it.

Now Allum Bokhari takes a look back at the wizarding world and finds rightwing messages buried in the Potter oeuvre. See his catch at Breitbart.com. Major headings:
1) Walls between different societies are good
2) Don’t trust establishment politicians (or establishment media)
3) If a group has a terrorist problem, sometimes you have to ban them
You'll enjoy Bokhari's explanation of each, he knows his Potterverse. Hat tip to Lucianne.com for the link.

Later ... Rowling never excuses evil in her Death Eaters as being caused by things beyond their control:  poverty, broken homes, discrimination. She says they're bullies, evil people who enjoy harming others. This is a decidedly conservative viewpoint, holding individuals responsible for their bad choices.
