Rhee Kicks Butt

Washington, D.C., School Superintendent Michelle Rhee has used draconian measures in the district's schools, which were worse than dismal, and apparently done some good. Her fourth and eighth graders scored better on reading, the key skill in learning. Furthermore, the D.C. schools were the only one, among major cities, which improved.
