An Empty Threat

The Jerusalem Post reports the Hamas head of foreign affairs, in Cairo for ceasefire negotiations, demanded on his Facebook page:

Israel must accept the demands of the Palestinian people or face a long war.

Really? How would that be different from what Israel has experienced since 1948?

Israel is on the front lines of The Long War. It isn't going away any time soon, regardless of what is agreed in Cairo. Hat tip to Lucianne.com for the link.
