Obama a Fellow-Traveler

The Hill reports poll results that are "interesting" to say the least.
A majority of Republican voters, 54 percent, think that President Obama is a Muslim, according to a new survey from the left-leaning Public Policy Polling (PPP).

Asked whether they thought Obama is a Christian or Muslim or if they were unsure, 32 percent said they were unsure. Fourteen percent said he was a Christian.
Without alleging any "insider" information, COTTonLINE believes both choices are wrong. The 32 percent who stated "unsure" came closest to being right.

Obama is in fact an agnostic or atheist who has at various times in his life associated himself with the Muslim faith of his Indonesian stepfather or Rev. Wright's Black Christianity. As an American politician, he claims Christianity and worships just enough to give minimal credibility.

Having lived the very liberal Islam prevalent in the Indonesia of his youth, Obama is sympathetic to Muslims. He mistakenly believes he understands them.

Our country has good cause to be deeply suspicious of Muslims. Obama's refusal to condemn the obviously Muslim roots of most terrorist violence makes him appear to be a Muslim when he is merely a fellow-traveler, to use a term popular in the Red-scare days.
