wrote the opposition had elected a substantial majority in the Venezuelan legislature. At the time we were concerned about the transition:

Now comes an
article in the
Financial Times which indicates the transition will be anything but smooth, and doesn't rule out a coup. President Maduro is quoted as saying
This is no time for cohabitation or coexistence with the bourgeoisie.
