You look at the European Union, and it’s Germany. Basically a vehicle for Germany. That’s why I thought the U.K. was so smart in getting out.Many pundits have called German Chancellor Angela Merkel the leader of Europe. I wonder, is Trump suggesting we imagine the EU as the Fourth Reich, minus the goose-stepping mass rallies?
Economically, he wouldn't be far wrong, especially with the Brits headed for the door. Politically and militarily, the EU is too spineless for the analogy to work.
