Homogeneity Pays Dividends

Writing for RealClearPolitics, Dennis Prager cites intriguing statistical data. Here's the quote:
In the United States, there is direct correlation between ethnic homogeneity and low levels of violence. According to 2016-2017 data, the four states with the lowest percentages of violence are:
1. Vermont -- where 95 percent of the population is one race (white).
2. Maine -- where 95 percent of the population is one race (white).
3. Wyoming -- where roughly 93 percent of the population is one race (white).
4. New Hampshire -- where roughly 94 percent of the population is one race (white).
The balance of Prager's column is an argument for assimilation (i.e., immigrants becoming Americans quickly). He opposes multiculturalism. It is a position with which COTTonLINE is in complete agreement.

Full disclosure: Wyoming has been our home for the past 13 years. We've owned property there for 23 years. We love its clean mountain air, uncrowded space, conservative politics and lack of violent crime.
