There will soon be more people in the Anglosphere than in the EU.This suggests the U.K. could be better off in a customs union with Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the U.S., and Ireland (if interested).
Where an independent Scotland would land is anybody's guess. Probably in the EU with whose redistributionist policies they tend to agree.
