The Washington Post editorial weighs in on the side of looking for a reasonable outcome in Peru. Humala, the newly elected President of Peru talks a good game of being a moderate, but has a record of being a leftist in the Chavez mold.
The Post encourages him to follow the Brazilian model, which works, instead of the Venezuelan model which doesn't. For what it's worth, COTTonLine agrees.
