Not everything we do here is heart-stoppingly serious. I just finished a nice column written for RealClearPolitics by Heather Wilhelm who has moved to Texas from Chicago.
True, she moved to Austin which is as unlike most of TX as Jacksonville is unlike most of Florida. Still, it is a pleasant column and not far off the mark.
The DrsC moved to TX to spend a year as visiting faculty about a decade ago. It was darned interesting and, on the whole, quite pleasant. We have zero regrets.
