Sarah Hoyt, who guest-blogs at Instapundit, links to a Bearing Arms article about Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer photographed wearing a sidearm while traveling to visit Marine detachments in Afghanistan. Apparently several snowflakes took exception to this public display of comfort with going armed.
As the article’s author says, being armed when going in harm’s way makes perfect sense. Props to Richard Spencer who, his official Navy bio reports, lives in western Wyoming. Armed is a very Wyoming thing.
