English Breakfast Favorite

The Express (U.K.) reports that the "full English breakfast" is the world's most popular, with the U.S. breakfast coming in a close second. The surveyed audience is international travelers, a group with the experience of breakfasts around the developed world.

These findings make considerable sense to the traveling DrsC. We've at last count visited 91 of the 300+ sites on the Century Club's list - most of which sites are nations.

The Full English fry-up is excellent, although the other DrC will pass on the fried tomatoes and baked beans, which means I get to eat hers as well as my own. I particularly like marmalade on toast, especially Rose's Lime which is difficult to find in the U.S.

Once again, why is good bread easy to find in Europe, including the U.K., and hard to find in the U.S.? Every traveling American agrees this is so, as do less diplomatic Europeans.
