Earlier today I checked the films playing locally and decided to watch TV instead. Time has a nice article on reasons why movie goers boycotted the multiplexes over the long 4th of July weekend.
It boils down to this: nothing much interesting to watch. The reasons include a bunch of loser films and release-date scheduling goofs by the studios.
The other DrC wants to see How To Train Your Dragon 2. Seen on a plane, the first dragon-training film didn't work for me so I'm not motivated to see 2.
