Other than the typo where Kurt writes "most" and means "more," I find myself in total agreement with his sentiment. If McConnell sometimes (mildly) badmouths Trump, who sometimes deserves it, he is very effective in helping the Republicans in the Senate maximize their power to frustrate Schumer and Pelosi.
