This is what the weather looks like up home in Wyoming, no shortage of white Christmas there. Meanwhile here in eastern Nevada, we were out on the patio in short sleeves this morning dismembering the Christmas tree so its various constituent parts would fit into the trash can.
The contrast between the rain/snow shown above and the warm sunshine here is all you need to understand the charms of being a snowbird. It is a way not to have to take the bad with the good, weatherwise.
Summers there are perfect, winters here are perfect, neither is worth spit in the off season. If ducks and geese are smart enough to migrate, why not us?
