The Best Case Isn't Good

Time's Joe Klein has written a column on Hillary and Bill Clinton you need to read. As an old-line liberal Klein sees much to admire, no surprise, but also much to deplore about the power couple.

The things he deplores don't make him love Republicans more, but he absolutely loves the Clintons less. See his conclusion about the Clintons:

Now—because of their sloppiness and carelessness and tendency to lawyer the truth—the very best-case scenario for Hillary Clinton is that she might be elected President as the lesser of two evils.

That is Klein's "best case?" Talk about a less-than-ringing endorsement.
