Reuters reports exit polling in the U.K. indicates the Conservatives will get a near-majority of seats in the House of Commons. It suggests the Conservatives are doing substantially better than pre-election polling which predicted they were neck-and-neck with Labour.
If actual results bear out what exit polls show, David Cameron will have an easy time finding a coalition partner to bring their combined total to 326 or more. Shutting the Scottish National Party out of government is good for England, but maybe bad for keeping the kingdom united.
