Journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones recently caused a stir by writing that she sent her daughter Najya to public schools in New York City because she believed it to be the right, public spirited thing to do. She now believes doing so was a major parenting mistake which harmed her child. Kudos to Hannah-Jones for admitting her mistake.
