The EU voted over the past weekend, and the right did very well at the expense of the center, the left and especially the greens. France's Macron was a big loser, so was the coalition running Germany. Expect some shake up in the bureaucratic office warrens of Brussels.
Some are writing that the Green movement is on the skids. I fear that assessment is too optimistic but it is clear the green movement took a well-deserved beating.
Europe's farmers raised hell about high fuel costs and limitations on pesticides. And just about all non-immigrant Europeans are concerned about excessive immigration, especially by people with zero interest of becoming actual Germans, French, Danes or Swedes.
