The driver of the truck that exploded at the Trump hotel in Las Vegas has been identified as Matthew Livelsberger. He was a former Green Beret from Colorado Springs who served at the same Army base as the New Orleans killer, possibly at the same time. He died in the blast.
Obviously an attempt will be made to learn if the two knew each other there. They used the same car rental service. These are strange, murky waters.
