COTTonLINE carries no advertisements, it never has. Some recent stories about controversial sites being demonetized has reminded me of a primary advantage of no ads - we can't be demonetized because no money is involved.
Short of being canceled entirely, demonetization seems to be the primary weapon wielded against sites with conservative political content. We don't advocate unlawful acts here, are a bit careful about unsubstantiated claims, and try always to cite sources.
So far that's kept COTTonLINE out of trouble. With luck, it will continue to do so. And there are still no pesky ads to wade through.
