Instapundit reposts an X post by Richard Fernandez who Xs as Wretchardthecat, writing about Israel's likely response to the Hamas attack, some of which may be delivered in Iran.
My guess is Israel is not going to fight a proxy war through Hamas, Hezbollah etc. They will aim to inflict great damage in the depths of Iran. In Mossad Director David Barnea's words: “The Iranian regime no longer has room for denial and, above all, it has no immunity.”
This could get very interesting very fast. The whole region could go to war. Plus young Moslem immigrants across Europe are going to be a serious problem for the countries which have offered them asylum.
