We made the 500+ mile trip south to our winter quarters in two easy days, all but the first roughly 100 miles done on I-15. En route we visited friends in the greater Salt Lake area.
Getting the WY place winterized is a chore, though we’ve made it easier than formerly with some tweaks to the plumbing. We lug less stuff back and forth than before but what we have to move with us is still a lot.
The day we left WY the weather had turned cold and wet, we were actually snowed on for a few miles of the first day’s drive. Today’s drive was nice weather and our winter location is doing shirt sleeve temps making for a nice arrival.
Our winter place survived the summer no problem. Kind neighbors kept an eye on it for us.
