I mainly listened to the late Rush Limbaugh while driving up and down the Sacramento Valley in the 1980s and 90s. When I did tune in it was to the station where Rush got his big break as a talk show host, KFBK 1530AM. That's where his occasional snide references to low-rent Rio Linda came from.
The new gal at Power Line, Elizabeth Stauffer, posts with approval a transcript of an October, 2020 Rush Limbaugh radio rant on how the left views elections. After making allowances for his trademark hyperbole I have to say Rush was correct. Sadly, Rush was a prophet in addition to being a self-taught polymath. Here it is the key graph.
They are attempting to win elections without broad public support. That’s what they’re trying to do. That’s just another way of phrasing what they’re doing. How do you win elections without broad public support? You have to cheat. You have to game the system.
Incidentally, Rush moved to Florida before it was the cool place-to-be for conservatives (see below).
