Today we note the year 2023 is half over. Welcome to the Fourth of July long weekend. Airports are a mess, the traffic is terrible, and prices are too high.
On the other hand, things aren't all bad. Progressives are in a state of hyper-emotive meltdown over recent decisions delivered by the SCOTUS. Here in the high country, summer has finally put in an appearance. And at long last, Pride Month is finally over, apparently to be replaced by Barbie Month.
In case I don't get back to write a longer commemoration of the Fourth, I wish a Happy Birthday to my beloved country and a happy anniversary to all true patriots.
