Have you seen those new TV ads South Dakota is running asking people to move there for jobs, jobs, jobs? We are getting them on Fox News here in neighboring Wyoming.
The ads feature Governor Kristi Noem humorously playing in one a plumber and in the other a dentist. She brags about SD apprentices starting at $70,000 a year, paying no state personal income tax, and licensure from other states being accepted in SD.
I admire her entrepreneurial spirit. The lady is game to appear just a wee bit foolish, probably a plus for a politician. One supposes it is part of a sub rosa campaign to land her a vice presidential nomination, in addition to recruiting new workers for SD.
