We are fortunate to get spectacular sunsets at both of our homes. From our CA hilltop they’re often both enormous and downright gaudy.
Sunsets are one of the showiest tricks Gaia performs regularly; I believe we humans undervalue them. They’re a sort of natural fireworks - both awe-inspiring and ephemeral.
If interplanetary travel ever becomes a thing, tourists will travel to Earth to see big, splashy sunsets. This odd insight courtesy of my decades-long immersion in science fiction.
